The victim was sexually assaulted off Aberavon Road
POLICE appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Port Talbot.
The incident happened at around 10.45pm on Sunday after the victim - a woman in her 40s - got into a car outside the town's train station and was driven to Baglan Industrial Estate.
The assault took place on a patch of land near a coach depot on Aberavon Road, the road which runs between Neath Port Talbot Hospital and Morrisons supermarket.
Police are urging anyone with information about the incident, or anyone who saw the car involved - described as a bronze-coloured, five-door saloon - to come forward.
The driver and passenger in the vehicle are described as being men of Asian appearance, and both aged in their early 20s.
South Wales Police detective inspector Phil Sparrow said: "We are appealing to anyone who has seen this vehicle in the area between Port Talbot town centre and the industrial estate at Baglan Moors between the relevant times on Sunday night to come forward.
"We also want to hear from anyone who recognises the men from the descriptions given.
"While this is clearly a serious incident I would like to reassure the public that a full investigation is continuing and we are doing everything we can to find those responsible."
