Police in Neath Road, Hafod.
A 22-year-old-man has tonight been charged with rape and making threats to kill following an incident in the Hafod area of Swansea.
Police were called to Neath Road just before 6am on Thursday following reports of an assault.
Detectives launched an investigation, and this evening police confirmed a man had been charged in connection with the incident - he is due to appear at Swansea Magistrates Court on Saturday.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police has charged a 22-year-old man with offences of rape, assault and threats to kill following an incident which happened at Neath Road in Hafod, Swansea, shortly before 6am on Thursday, April 14.
"The man remains in custody and will appear at Swansea Magistrates Court on Saturday morning."
