A 28-year-old man has been arrested following an allegation of public indecency towards a female horse rider in Bridgend .

Megan Catherine Joseph reported the incident, which allegedly happened while she was riding her horse through lanes in the Pen-y-Bryn area last month.

The 21-year-old equine student, who waived her anonymity, contacted South Wales Police on March 27.

A 28-year-old man from the Bettws area has been questioned and released on police bail

Officers investigating the allegation arrested a 28-year-old man from the Bettws area on April 2.

He was questioned and then released on police bail pending further enquiries.
