Bangor,North Wales - Suspicious man calls at Bangor homes asking people for 'glass of water'

Police warn Bangor residents not to let him in to their houses

A suspicious man has been approaching homes in Bangor asking for a drink of water.
The man reportedly knocks on doors in the Maesgeirchen area and asks the residents if he can come inside for a glass of water.
There have been several reports by members of the public regarding the man and North Wales Police have warned homeowners in the area to be vigilant and not to let him in.
The man is described as being white, aged 55-60 years old with a thin build and a gingery beard which is greying.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: ”Never let anyone into your home unless you are totally satisfied as to their identity and their reason for being there.
“If you have any information please contact Sgt 2430 Baxter at Bangor by phoning 101.”
