Wrexham,North Wales - Third man admits part in Wrexham shop raids

A third man has admitted two charges of attempted robbery at shops in the Wrexham area.
Defendant Stuart Stephen Doyle, 36, of Russell Grove in Wrexham, appeared at Mold crown court via a live television link from Altcourse Prison in Liverpool.
Doyle pleaded guilty to the attempted robbery of staff at the Spar in Chester Road, Wrexham, and at McColls in Rhosnesni both on February 12 this year.
He denied burglary at Ffordd Dyfed in Wrexham and aggravated vehicle taking on the same day and those charges against him were dropped.
He was remanded in custody by Judge Niclas Parry and he was told he would be sentenced in June when a trial involving others had been completed.
On Friday two other men - Aaron McKenzie, 26, from Gwenfro, Wrexham, and Ben Brown, 26, of Caia Park, Wrexham - admitted the two attempted robbery charges.

But in a separate case McKenzie and another man - Edmund James Partyka, 18, of Meadow Lea in Wrexham – pleaded not guilty to conspiring to burgle dwelling houses in the Wrexham area on December 30 in order to steal car keys – and aggravated vehicle taking on the dame date.
The case against them was adjourned for trial in June.
