Three men with weapons stole cash from Llewelyn Stores on Trellewelyn Road
Armed robbers burst into a shop and threatened the owner before making off with cash last night.
Three men with weapons entered Llewelyn Stores on Trellewelyn Road in Rhyl just before 9.55pm.
The raiders, who were all wearing dark clothing, left the store with a small quantity of cash, according to North Wales Police.
Police sniffer dogs were brought in to search the area immediately after the robbery.
Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody awaiting interview.
The shopkeeper sustained a minor injury to her hand, which did not require medical treatment.
Detective Inspector Iwan Roberts said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the incident or anyone who may have witnessed three males acting suspiciously in the area between 9.30pm and 10.30pm.”
