North Wales Police have asked motorists to avoid the Pen y Maes Road area of the town
Three people have been arrested and a woman has been taken to hospital after an alleged assaulted in Holywell .
North Wales Police were called to an incident on Pen y Maes Road at 3.47pm today.
Twenty minutes later, at 4.07pm they contacted the Welsh Ambulance Service and asked them to attend.

A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: "We were called by North Wales Police at 4.07pm.
"A rapid response vehicle and an ambulance attended the scene.
"An adult female has been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with minor injuries."
Due to police activity in the street North Wales Police have asked motorists to avoid the area for the time being.
Temporary Superintendent Nick Evans said: "I’d like to reassure people that there is no risk to members of the public in the area."
