Dynamic in Lord Street only opened on March 1, but burglars took cash, clothes and collectibles
A charity shop for disabled children has been hit by thieves.
Burglars broke into the recently opened Dynamic shop on Lord Street in Wrexham overnight on Monday.
The thieves took cash, clothes and collectibles, leaving the business in a "right state", according to charity manager Carol Gardner.
The shop opened on March 1.
Ms Gardner said: "It's a blow to volunteers who worked so hard setting the shop up and now it is back to square one.
"They stole collectibles, clothes and money, which was the float in the till for the following day."
Dynamic is a Wrexham-based charity that provides out-of-school activities for children and young people with special needs.
The children have a range of disabilities from physical, intellectual or sensory impairments to life-limiting illnesses.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: "A break-in at a charity shop on Lord Street in Wrexham was reported at 9.25am on Monday.
"It is believed to have happened between 4pm on Monday March 27 and 8am on Tuesday March 28.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference number V043037."
