A woman has been charged with making hoax calls after two organisations were allegedly told a bomb had been planted at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena.
Deirdre Murphy, 62, from Swansea, is alleged to have made the calls on Tuesday, March 28, while the Defence Procurement, Research, Technology and Exportability event was being held at the arena.
Police said a 62-year-old woman had been arrested and charged with two counts of making a bomb hoax and communicating false information that could cause considerable disruption to an event.
Murphy has been released on police bail until May 2.
