Stock Photo, above A man who allegedly possessed a toothbrush with a blade attached to it is to go on trial for having an offensive weapon.
Jonathan Mellors pleaded not guilty to the charge at Mold Crown Court today.
The 26-year-old, of no fixed abode but from Rhyl, is accused of having the weapon in the town’s Russell Road on February 17.
Judge Rhys Rowlands refused a bail application and remanded him in custody pending his trial in June.
Defending barrister Andrew Green said his client could live with his stepfather in Prestatyn and had a job to start on Monday at the Airbus factory in Broughton.
