Wrexham,North Wales - Is this more video evidence of Wrexham's Black Mamba madness?

New footage emerges which is feared to show people in Wrexham town centre under the influence of so-called 'legal highs'

Disturbing footage appearing to show Wrexham town centre’s problems with so-called ‘legal highs’ such as Black Mamba has emerged.
Beckie Carson’s video shows a man sitting on a low wall on Lord Street, his arms out stiff in front of him as he shuffles along on his backside.
It was filmed on Thursday just around the corner from the town’s bus station where photographs showing evidence of drug use hit the national headlines earlier this month .
Twenty-six year-old Beckie posted it in Facebook and today it had already been viewed more than 45,000 times.
IT is not known whether the man was definitely under the influence of synthetic cannabis brands like Black Mamba and Spice, but pregnant Beckie is setting up a petition calling on the authorities to do more to tackle the issue of drugs and people apparently under the influence in the town centre.
She said: “I think these people need help, but we should not be subject to seeing people hallucinating, acting strangely and sometimes being violent in public places.
“Everyday we see this happening and it can be very intimidating.
“When I filmed this I was getting a sausage roll and there were shoppers, children and the elderly walking past. They should not have to see this.
“Something needs to be done to sort this out and I am launching a petition calling for action.”
Wrexham councillor Keith Gregory, who has also raised concerns over the issue, added: “We are seeing this happening all the time. Something needs to be done to sort this out.”
Wrexham council chiefs insist they are taking action.

A council spokesman said: “Over the past few months considerable progress has been made with partner organisations including the council, third sector voluntary organisations, Wrexham Police and BCUHB ( Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board ) to reduce the amount of inappropriate and unacceptable anti-social behaviour, including being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, in the town centre.
“We have a multi-agency strategic plan in place which seeks to address the issues and aims to ensure that Wrexham is a safe place.
“The plan is supported by a Public Protection Spaces Order (PSPO) which allows the police and enforcement officers to take action against offenders.
“Issuing a PSPO fine, however, is the last resort and partners now take a far more coordinated approach which is making a difference to the amount of anti-social behaviour witnessed recently.
“This remains a national problem that is not suited to traditional approaches to substance misuse.”
