The fire service have told me they attended the incident this lunchtime after being asked by the police to help investigate.
Detective Inspector reassures community
Officers are appealing for information but say this is an “isolated” incident.
Detective Inspector Iwan Roberts at St Asaph CID said: “North Wales Police are investigating this criminal act and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time who saw any suspicious persons or activity, or indeed knows anything about this incident fire to contact Police immediately. Ambulance not called
The Welsh Ambulance Service have confirmed they have not been called out to the incident.
Nature of the incident unknown
Police have so far been unable to provide any information about the incident. We’ll bring you an update from them when we can.

Live: Police tape off area in Ffrith
A Denbighshire shop has been cordoned off by police.
Officers arrived at Bargain Booze on Victoria Road in Ffrith, near Prestatyn, this morning and remain at the scene.
Eyewitnesses said there is police tape outside the store and Crime Scene Investigation officers dressed in white suits are in attendance.
It is understood that investigations centre around a flat next to the shop.
They also report graffiti has been scrawled across the wall. The nature of the incident is not yet known, with North Wales Police saying that they have no information at present.
