RSPCA officials and the police are looking for two boys who kicked a cat into the air leaving it with a fractured leg - the cat now needs an operation

A motorist was passing The Green in Penllergaer on Tuesday of this week and saw the black and white cat being kicked by the two boys, aged around nine or 10 years old.
RSPCA animal welfare officer Paula Milton said: “Shockingly the witness said the poor cat was kicked so hard he flew in the air.
“The driver took the injured cat, who couldn’t put any weight on her back legs and was screaming, to a veterinary surgery.”
At the vets, the cat was found to have had broken the top of his leg following an X-ray and will need an operation.
She added: “One of the young boys had brown hair and a red hoodie on.”
The cat was not microchipped so the RSPCA has been unable so far to track down his owner.
Anyone who has any information about the owner can call the RSPCA appeal line on 0300 123 8018 or contact South Wales Police.
