A man was left with serious facial injuries after being assaulted with what is believed to be a roof tile in North Wales .
The 35-year-old man was walking along Central Avenue in Prestatyn at around 8.30pm on Saturday.
He was approached from behind by a man and attacked with what appeared to be a roof tile and later received several stitches to his face, a North Wales Police spokesman said.
What does the suspect look like?
The offender is described as being white, aged in his early 20s, and had very short dark hair. He was wearing a grey or white-coloured hoody and tracksuit bottoms.
According to the police the suspect left the area in a light blue-coloured Toyota Yaris which travelled along Central Avenue and then turned right up Ffordd Penwylfa.

PC James Lloyd said: “This appears to have been a pre-planned attack which has left a man with serious facial injuries. I am appealing to anybody who may have information or to anybody who may have witnessed the incident to contact us immediately.”
