A woman of 59 whose alleged insults and gestures disrupted the lives of a Rhos on Sea family was jailed for 32 weeks today (Thursday, March 31) after being convicted of breaching a restraining order.
Margaret Parry, of Woodlands, Llandudno Junction, who had denied the allegations, was under post-sentence supervision and had even made some abusive calls to the probation service, a court at Llandudno was told.
District judge Gwyn Jones said there had been a “persistent and continuing pattern of offending” which had a significant impact on children and affected normal family life.
The court heard a man who had endured her behaviour felt “trapped in the situation.”
Judge Jones told Parry :”Even the probation team have had a taste of your aggression although since that time it would appear your attitude has improved.”
Defence solicitor Huw Roberts said Parry’s last period of custody wasn’t easy. She now wished to relocate to Flint or Wrexham.
