Ewloe,North Wales - Attempted car break-in at Ewloe Green caught on CCTV camera

The incident happened on the exact time and date two other men were caught trying to break into a parked car elsewhere in the county

Shocking CCTV footage shows two would-be thieves trying to break into cars parked outside rural homes in Flintshire.
A man wearing a white coat and a baseball cap attempts to open the door handle of one vehicle, while a second person wearing a hoodie is also captured trying his luck at the neighbouring property.
The incident happened in Green Lane, Ewloe Green, at 3.38am on Tuesday – the exact time and date two other men were caught on camera trying to break into a car outside a house in Mold.
Resident Darren Zabinski, whose CCTV captured the Ewloe Green incident said he believes a group have been working together to target cars in the area.
He has reported the incident to the police which he says has “sparked a little bit of fear” amongst his tight-knit community.

The father-of-two said: “The car in the drive was my sister’s. The person has grabbed the car handle and then looked over the gate at my car which was locked up.
“You can also see that the camera picks up some one trying to get into the neighbour’s car.
“It happened at exactly the same time as the incidents in Mold. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but if so it’s a remarkable coincidence.
“It must be a group working together. The neighbours are concerned, it’s sparked a little bit of fear in the local neighbourhood.”
North Wales Police spokesman confirmed that the incident had been reported to them and urged anyone with information call them on 101 using the reference U044655.
It is not known whether the incidents in Mold are connected.
Earlier this week we reported how two men had been captured on video on a driveway in Llys Tudela, with one of them trying to open one of the car doors.
Police are currently investigating two car break-ins on the same road since Saturday.
A car stereo fascia was stolen some time between 7pm on Monday (March 28) and 9am the following day.
And a break-in was also reported at a separate address on the same road, involving a red Hyundai, where a sat nav was stolen between Saturday, March 26 and 7pm on Tuesdsay.
Both thefts happened when the vehicles were parked on their respective driveways.
North Wales Police are urging anyone with information to call 101, quoting reference RC16044680 for the stereo fascia theft and RC16045341 for the incident which saw a sat nav stolen.
