A man has been arrested and bailed after a dogwalker was assaulted in Bangor.
Police have renewed their appeal after a 29-year-old man was seriously injured when walking his dog in Glanrafon Hill on Sunday April 10.
Today, police revealed a man has been arrested and bailed pending further inquiries.
Officers are still keen to track down a group of students who had been playing with the man’s dog moments before the attack.
DC Arwel Hughes said: “Our investigation is very much still ongoing, and we are particularly keen to speak to a group of students who were on Glanrafon Hill at the time. They would have seen or heard something and we urge them to come forward and assist with our investigation.
“We are also appealing to anyone else who was in the area at the time or who knows anything about the assault to contact Police and help us piece together exactly what took place.”
