Wrexham,Caia Park,North Wales - Man tasered and four in custody after Wrexham Caia Park rooftop siege

The man has been arrested in connection with an earlier burglary in Rhosllanerchrugog

A man has been tasered and four people are in custody following a rooftop siege this morning.
It comes after police were called to reports of a burglary at an address on High Street in Rhosllanerchrugog, near Wrexham at 8.16am, where a woman was threatened and money was stolen.
Three men fled the area in a Volkswagen Golf car.
Officers raced to the scene and a short while later, found the Golf in the Queensway area of Caia Park.
A 26-year-old man was seen in the area and police tasered him.

An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital but was later discharged.
The man is now in custody after being arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
Three women have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Earlier today the Daily Post told how police swooped on a house in Wrexham after a man sparked a rooftop siege.
Around 15 officers descended on a property near Queensway in Caia Park at around 9.45am.
A man was spotted on top of the roof of a conservatory.
A second man – thought to be a police negotiator – was also pictured on the roof trying to talk him down.
North Wales Police confirmed that the two incidents are linked and say they are still looking for two other men in relation to the burglary
A spokesman said: “Enquiries are ongoing to identify the outstanding two males and officers will remain in the Rhosllanerchrugog and Caia Park areas to provide reassurance and conduct their investigation.”
