A SWANSEA man has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
The arrest was made yesterday under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 as part of a joint operation between Wales Extremism Counter Terrorism Unit and West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit.

The 26-year-old is now being questioned at a police station in the West Midlands.
A warrant for further detention was granted by magistrates this afternoon, which gives detectives an extra seven days to question the man.
Wales counter terrorism officials confirmed the investigation does not concern any immediate threat to public safety.
They added the man was from the Swansea area.
