POLICE are appealing for help after a burglary at Briton Ferry Steel Cricket Club saw vital ground maintenance equipment stolen.
Thieves broke into a shed at the Ynysmaerdy Road club between 11am on Saturday, January 7, and 4pm on Monday, January 9th, and stole three rotary grass mowers, a petrol strimmer, and a quantity of tools.
Officers are urging anyone with information about the break-in — or anyone offered similar items for sale — to come forward.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "Police in Neath are investigating a burglary at Briton Ferry Steel Cricket Club.
"Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious or has any information about the burglary should contact police."
