A 24-hour police crackdown in Cardiff has already resulted in 42 arrests.
Officers worked through the night making arrests for offences such as burglary, drug dealing, assault and making threats.
The latest Operation Fulcrum started at 8pm on Tuesday and by 8am on Wednesday a total of 17 had been arrested, by 2pm that had risen to more than 40.
They included a 19-year-old man arrested in Trowbridge in connection with a Boxing Day burglary in Grangetown.
A 17-year-old male was also arrested in connection with the theft of a purse from a car parked outside the Lifestyle Fitness gym on Rover Way.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of stealing a bag from a car parked outside a flat in Wyncliff Gardens, Pentwyn, in November last year.
Operation Fulcrum raids have been carried out in the city several times in the past and are aimed to crack down on suspected drugs trafficking, sex offenders and alleged illegal drivers.
It is part of South Wales Police's commitment to keeping communities across Cardiff safe.

Today's operation involves more than 40 officers and updates are being posted on social media.
In a previous operation high-value cars and cash were seized in police raids across the city.
Chief Inspector Karl Eenmaa said today: “Today’s operation aims to keep people safe by getting criminals off the streets.
"We have pooled resources in the city, and have dedicated units who are acting on intelligence about the whereabouts of those we suspect of committing crimes.
"More often than not, these arrests have been enabled by information we have received from the public.
"Anybody who is responsible for crime should be put before the courts.
"We work daily to track down suspects – those who are wanted by us should know that we will never stop looking for them and will always catch up with them."
