Two men have appeared in court in connection with the death of a man whose body was pulled from a lake at a golf club.
Dale Pike, 25, of Chain Walk, Glynneath , and Jonathan Pike, 47, of Ystradfellte, Aberdare , are charged with manslaughter by gross negligence.
Gareth Pugh was 29 when he died in the grounds of Peterstone Golf Club on February 11 last year.
The case was listed for a plea and trial preparation hearing before Judge Eleri Rees at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday.
Around 15 people packed into the public gallery for the hearing, which lasted for about 20 minutes.
The defendants, both dressed in black suits and ties, spoke only to confirm their names and have not yet entered pleas.
Mr Pugh was working for a golf ball collecting company at the time of the incident.
A provisional trial date was set for July 3 and proceedings are expected to last for about three weeks.
