Parents and pupils in Llanishen are being warned to be vigilant

Police are investigating after a sixth form student was approached by a driver who told her to 'get into the car'.
The girl ran from the scene and now parents and pupils in the Llanishen area of Cardiff are being warned to be vigilant.
South Wales Police say they are treating the incident as suspicious and they are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding what happened.
The girl was reportedly approached in Heol Hir, near Llanishen High school, at around 8.45pm on Friday.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "We can confirm that an incident occurred on Friday which we are treating as suspicious
"An investigation is ongoing to identify that person and establish the circumstances surrounding what happened.
"We would urge the unknown motorist involved in the incident to come forward to explain his actions.
"In the meantime we advised Llanishen High School school to notify the parents of its pupils and urge people to be vigilant and to report any concerns to us, which is what they have done."

"As one of our sixth form students was walking up Heol Hir in Llanishen, a dark coloured saloon car pulled up next to her and instructed her to 'get into the car'. The driver was male and of mixed race origin.
"Fortunately, the student quickly left the scene and made herself safe.
"The police were immediately informed. I will also be alerting neighbouring schools. Please alert the police immediately if you have any concerns."
Any further suspicious incidents should be reported to 101.
