Haverfordwest,South Wales - Police hunt sex attacker who is 'likely to have received facial injuries'

A woman reported being assaulted in Haverfordwest in the early hours of Sunday morning

Police are hunting for a man who may have suffered injuries to his face during a sex assault on a woman in Haverfordwest .

Police believe the man responsible “is likely to have facial injuries” which were sustained during the assault.

The attack happened in the early hours of Sunday in the Peggy’s Lane and Gerald Road area of the Pembrokeshire town.

Dyfed-Powys Police appealed for anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the area between Peggy’s Lane, Jury Lane, Cromie Avenue and Portfield Avenue.

Anyone who heard anything in those areas between 2.30am and 3.30am should call 101.

A police spokeswoman said: “Anyone who holds information that could help identify the perpetrator is also urged to call police.”
