Siege ends
Police swooped on a house in Wrexham after a man sparked a rooftop siege.
A man was spotted on top of the roof of a conservatory.
A second man – thought to be a police negogiator – was also pictured on the roof trying to talk him down.

Heavy police presence expected in Wrexham town centre
There is also going to be a heavy police presence in Wrexham later as fans travel to Chester for the derby day clash at the Deva Stadium. Once again it has been designated as a bubble match. Wrexham fans will have to travel to the match in Chester via designated transport only.

Police have now left the scene. It is unclear whether police have made any arrests. We’ll keep you updated through the day on any developments.

It appears that nobody has been injured in the incident having spoken to the ambulance service.

Police unable to comment on incident
I have just spoken to North Wales Police who tell me they are at this moment unable to provide any details about the incident. They have confirmed though that they did attend. I’m told there may be an update later today.
