The judge warned John Junior Sillah, 19, he faces a very lengthy sentence after admitting five break-ins
A North Wales teenager has admitted stealing women’s underwear and clothing during house burglaries - some on Christmas Day.
John Junior Sillah, 19, pleaded guilty to five offences at Mold Crown Court today.
Sillah, of Mornington Crescent in Buckley, admitted a house burglary at Hanson Drive, Buckley, on Christmas Day, where he stole underwear and ladies’ clothing.
He admitted that he burgled the same premises, when he stole ladies’ clothing, underwear and a house key, back in April.
The defendant admitted a Christmas Day burglary at a house in Chester Road, Mold, where he stole money, ladies’ clothing and underwear and attempting to burgle another house in Chester Road, Mold, on Christmas Day.
He also admitted burglary at another house in Chester Road, Mold, on the same day, when it is also alleged he stole a jacket,
Today he was remanded in custody pending sentence in March by Judge Niclas Parry.
The judge told him that he would receive the maximum credit in sentence for his early guilty pleas, which would also be of some comfort to the victims because it would avoid a trial.
But the judge added that because the crimes were of a very serious matter, the court would have at the forefront of its mind a very lengthy sentence.
“There are obvious issues that need to be addressed,” Judge Parry told Sillah, who appeared via a live television link from Altcourse Prison in Liverpool.
