Hywel Hughes, 65, denies the charges which date back to the 1980s
A Ruthin man has denied trafficking a girl, abducting a child and a series of historical sexual offences.
Hywel Hughes, 65, of Bryn Eryl, was bailed to go on trial in June of next year.
Hughes appeared in the dock at Mold Crown Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to three charges of abducting a child back in the 1980s, three charges of indecent assault on a girl under 16, and one charge of rape.
He further denied later offences between 2010 and 2012 – two charges of voyeurism where it is alleged that he covertly filmed a girl doing a private act, three charges of exposing himself, and trafficking a girl with intent to commit a sexual offence.
Hughes was bailed by Judge Rhys Rowlands on condition that he has no contact with the complainants and that he does not enter the town where they live.
