Shotton,North Wales - Shoplifter dropped goods he'd stuffed up his jumper

Jordan Christopher Golding, 25, was immediately confronted and the property recovered, Flintshire magistrates heard.

A shoplifter put so many items up his jumper that they fell onto the ground as he walked away from the store.
Jordan Christopher Golding was immediately confronted by staff and the property recovered, Flintshire Magistrates' Court heard.
Golding, 25, formerly of Heol Hyfryd in Gwersyllt but now of Mostyn Street, Shotton , was given a three-year conditional discharge after he admitted stealing from Home Bargains on Deeside, an earlier shoplifting, and damaging a police car following his arrest on Tuesday.
He was ordered to pay £120 compensation to North Wales Police , together with £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
Angharad Mullarkey, prosecuting, said on October 3 he was seen placing items under his jumper in the store and as he left a number of items fell to the ground, including jewellery and toiletry sets.
He also admitted stealing e-cigarettes from Home Bargains in July.
When he was arrested on Tuesday he was handcuffed but damaged a police car door.
Justine McVitie, defending, said that it was not a sophisticated offence.
“He is not particularly good at it,” she said. “He was apprehended on both occasions.”
She said he did not have alcohol or drugs problems but made foolish decisions to shoplift when short of money.

He had come off worst after damaging the police car and was taken to hospital with a head injury.
