POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at the Co-Op store in Pensarn.
The burglary happened shortly before midnight on Thursday (December 15). A large quantity of cigarettes and tobacco were stolen.
DS Rebecca Hughes said: “We believe there were at least two suspects involved. Both were wearing gloves and dark coloured jackets with a white logo on the upper right rear shoulder area, and dark trousers.”
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the burglary or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area between 11pm and 12.30am. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered cigarettes at a reduced price.”
Anyone with information is asked to call DS Hughes at St Asaph CID on 101 quoting reference RC16188268.
