An 80-year-old man is today battling life threatening injuries after he was knocked down by a car in Llandudno.
The accident happened last night on Nevill Crescent in the town.
Initially the injured man was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor and has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke.
Emergency crews were called to the crash scene shortly after 10pm.
Police closed the road before reopening it three hours later at around 1am this morning.
One ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and a doctor were sent to the scene.
Today North Wales Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward to help with their investigation into how the collision happened.
