A manhunt is underway in Bangor following a “police incident” at roughly 3.30pm.
Several police cars and the force’s helicopter are scouring the city following an incident which took place in the Seiriol Road area.
A spokesman for North Wales Police said they were not able to comment on the nature of what occurred at this stage as it is an “ongoing incident”.
He added: “Officers are currently looking for a man in connection with an incident reported at 3.30pm in the Seiriol Road area.”
One witness said: “I was just passing through and I could see, between Aldi and the Three Crowns pub there was a police car and a police van.
“It looked like they had deliberately blocked the road. There was also an unmarked car and I could hear the helicopter.
“It was hard to get a sense of what was going on.”
