Swansea,South Wales - Police officer's windscreen smashed with heavy object while on patrol in Morriston

POLICE are appealing for help after an officer's windscreen was smashed with a heavy object while he was out in patrol in Morriston.
Two men on a green Kawasaki motorbike caused the damage to the moving vehicle before driving off. The officer involved is believed to be unhurt.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday at Lon Camlad.
A 26-year-old man from Swansea has been arrested in connection with the incident, but the second man is still at large.

"The incident occurred at around 1.40am today when a roads policing officer was out on routine patrols in Morriston, when two men on a green Kawasaki motorbike caused the damage to the moving vehicle before making off," said a South Wales Police spokeswoman.
The Post has been told "an unknown heavy object" was used.
