A 27-YEAR-old man has been jailed for drug offences.
Alieu Jasseh, of Rhyl, appeared before Mold Crown Court yesterday (Thursday) and was jailed for five years and eight months for Misuse of Drugs Act offences in Rhyl.
Inspector Alwyn Williams at Rhyl Police Station said: “I welcome the sentencingtoday at Mold Crown Court. Drug related activities have an enormous impact in our communities and I’m sure Denbighshire will be a safer place now Mr Jasseh is behind bars.
"His incarceration is the result of local officers work under Operation Damine and information from our communities which can often take time to bear fruit so we appreciate their patience and I would encourage that flow of information continue as today’s result shows.
“We are fully committed to providing a Safer North Wales and delivering a quality of service our communities deserve but we can’t do this alone and key to all our work, and that of our partners, is intelligence and I cannot emphasise enough the importance of the community sharing their concerns with us."
Information can be passed to Police in several ways. Speak to your Police Officer or PCSO, contacting the control room direct via the web live chat or phone 101.
