Barry Wall who was given a three-year community order for his crime incredibly blames his solicitor for 'pressuring him' into admitting the charges

Shamed panto star Barry Wall today claimed he was innocent of downloading child porn - despite pleading guilty in court.
Barry Wall, 36, confessed to possessing sick images of children as young as four at Holyhead Magistrates’ Court.
But speaking to the Daily Post after he avoided jail, Wall, showing no signs of remorse, said he regretted pleading guilty and claimed the images were downloaded by the previous owner of the laptop.
Wall was given a three-year community order by magistrates on Tuesday and has been made to sign the sex offenders register.
Despite the sentence and his guilty plea, he refused to take any responsibility and incredibly blamed his solicitor Richard Williams for pressuring him to plead guilty.
That claim was completely rejected today by Mr Williams.
Wall, of Newry Street, Holyhead said: “I just was not able to get my side of the story across (in court). My instinct was not to plead guilty. I was under pressure from my solicitor.
“I should have not pleaded guilty and taken it to crown court and taken it from there.
“The computer was second hand, people should be careful in future buying second hand. It was the previous owner but I could not say that in court.
“That was just my solicitor telling me, ‘do not got to crown court or you’ll go to prison’.”
But Mr Williams refuted any suggestion that he pressured Wall into making a guilty plea.

“He made a full and frank admission. I am perplexed by that comment. I am surprised to hear (him) say that.
“He has never said he was pressured into pleading guilty (and) I have had lots of communications with him.
“His instructions to me from the outset were that he intended to plead guilty.”
Wall revealed that he plans to move to Liverpool and had to leave the port town yesterday under “police escort”.
He added: “I am moving to Liverpool today. I am just devastated. I just want to start over again.”
As well as the three-year community order Wall was ordered to pay £145 in court costs yesterday and will have to perform community service as part of his punishment.
Wall used to teach a dance and acting class in Holyhead and was heavily involved in pantomimes in Amlwch and Benllech with theatre group the Melody Makers.
