British Transport Police are hunting a man who punched a train conductor in the face in Flintshire .
Officers want to speak to the man in this photograph in connection with the attack, which happened on July 16 at Flint.
The conductor was walking down the Llandudno to Manchester Piccadilly Service when he came across a man without a ticket at about 7.30pm.
When he refused to pay the conductor asked him to leave the train at Flint railway station.
When the train stopped and the man got off he punched the conductor in the face before running away.
It is believed the attacker may be from the Wrexham area.
Investigating officer PC Sean Braithwaite said: “The conductor was just carrying out his job when he was subjected to an unprovoked and unacceptable assault.
“I ask anyone who recognises the man from this image to get in touch immediately.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting 494 of 16/7.
