POLICE are investigating a theft in a Gwendraeth Valley village.
Officers are looking into the incident which took place at a premises near Pontyates Filling Station.
A number of golf buggy batteries were stolen.
Have you got any information which may help officers? Call 101.
Meanwhile, Dyfed Powys Police are today urging people with speech difficulties that makes it hard to communicate to join the Dyfed Powys Police Pegasus Scheme.
It is a service designed to make it easier for people who live and, or work in the Dyfed Powys Police area to communicate with the force quickly and easily on both the 101 and 999 numbers.
Application forms for the scheme are available from local neighbourhood policing teams.
Approach them when out and about or make a request through the police communication centre on 101 or through the advice section of its website.
Registering for the scheme is free. Once a person is registered and their selected password is approved the individual is a member of the scheme.
Chief Inspector Dyfed Bolton said: "The Pegasus Scheme is really simple.
"The caller will only have to say 'Pegasus' and give their password to be identified by our call handlers.
"They will then have access to that person's information and how best to communicate with that person."
