British Transport Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with incident

A train guard was threatened and verbally abused by a man at Prestatyn station.
British Transport Police (BTP) are looking to trace the passenger and have released an image of a man they want to speak to.
The incident took place around 4pm on Tuesday August 23.
Investigating officer PC Kevin Thomas said: “While the train was stationary at Prestatyn station, a passenger approached the train guard and began verbally abusing him. His behaviour escalated and he became increasingly aggressive and threatened the guard.
“This was naturally a distressing incident for the victim, who was left shaken and upset.
"Nobody should have to suffer such abuse and threats, particularly when they are just doing their job.

“BTP will not tolerate aggression of any kind towards railway staff and we will do everything possible to track down the offender and bring him to justice.”
Following extensive enquiries , BTP officers have managed to isolate CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident.
He is described as white, in his 40s, around 6ft tall with dark hair in a ponytail.
He was wearing a bright yellow T-shirt, a grey gilet and was carrying a large rucksack.
In a statement the BTP say it is believed he left the station pushing a mountain bike and had two children with him.
If you know the man pictured, or have any information about the incident, call BTP on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 quoting reference 353 of 23/08/2016.
