POLICE in Swansea have secured a Closure Order on a house suspected to be linked to drug dealing anti-social behaviour.
Officers successfully applied to Swansea Magistrates Court to have the order imposed on Number 190A Cwm Road in Hafod, which means it prohibits access to anyone including the resident for up to three months.
The address was recently the subject of a warrant as part of a drugs enforcement operation in the city centre.
Detective Chief Inspector Esyr Jones said: "We have worked with our partners to ensure that the anti-social behaviour created by the use of this address as a base for suspected drugs supply was stopped.
"It has caused great upset and intimidation in the area and the residents just want to be able to live their lives without fear every time they leave their houses."

A man and a woman have both been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs after officers executed a warrant as part of a wider operation to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in the area earlier this month.
PC Angharad Willmett, of the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot community safety department said: "We hope that this closure order will have a positive impact on the local community and reduce anti-social behaviour as well as the chances of this address being used for illegal activities in the future.

"It should also serve as a warning to anyone who allows their property to be used for drugs supply. Not only do they face arrest and prosecution, we will also use other powers at our disposal such as a closure order which will render you homeless."
Anyone with information about drugs or any other form of crime in their community should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
