A WOMAN was shocked to find another woman who had assaulted her earlier hiding under her bed when she returned home.
Lucy Rees had first attacked her partner Toni Marshall at her mother's home in Heol Cadifor, Penlan.
Rees had pursued Ms Marshall upstairs to the toilet where the victim had gone to call police following a confrontation between the pair on February 20.
She then punched her partner in the face, and kneed her in the chest and leg, but left before police officers arrived at the property.
Swansea Crown Court heard that Ms Marshall then returned to her home in Hollett Road, Treboeth, to pack up some of Rees's belongings, only to find the 19-year-old, of Pentremalwed Road in Morriston, hiding under her bed.
Prosecuting, Nicola Powell, said Rees then caused damage to the front door by kicking it and shouting 'I am going to …. Burn your flat down if you do not let me in'.
Police were called for a second time, and once again Miss Marshall returned to her mother's home, only to be followed by Rees.
On this occasion, Rees broke glass on a double glazed window and attempted to push her way into the property.
"The defendant was seen by the complainant to have a knife in her hand," added Ms Powell.
Rees appeared in court from custody, having been jailed for 33 week in July for a case of battery against a former partner, which was itself a breach of a suspended sentence for yet another battery case, again involving the possession of a knife.
Mitigating, Catherine Richards told the court: "Her behaviour over the last 12 months has been remarkable.
"She had an extremely difficult childhood, and suffered significant abuse. It has not been dealt with by therapeutic intervention, and that led to certain behaviour and abuse of drugs.
"This is her first time in custody, and she is trying to avail herself to courses available there. It is not an experience she wants to repeat".

Rees had pleaded guilty to criminal damage, assault by beating, common assault and possession of a bladed article.
Recorder Peter Griffiths QC said: "Your repeated attacks on persons you have had relationships with really do concern this court, and also your picking up of a knife in at least two of these incidents.
"I have to take into account your age and totality, and what I have been told about your difficult upbringing. I accept you have had a difficult time up to this point in your life, but you must remain in custody to alleviate the concerns of the public".
Rees was told she would serve a combined further 12 weeks in custody, on top of the 33 weeks she is already serving, to fun consecutively.
She was also ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge, and she was given a restraining order barring her from contacting her victim or visiting two streets in Penlan.
