Police are appealing for information after a man was punched to the ground in Newport.
The victim needed hospital treatment after the assault last Friday, April 8 at around 10.30pm.
It happened on Glebe Street, Maindee near the rear car park of Wetherspoon’s Public House.
Gwent Police said the victim was punched causing him to fall and hit his head on the pavement.
He was admitted to hospital to treat his injuries.
Investigations are ongoing but anyone with information please contact call us on 101 quoting log number 552 08/04/16.
