A fire which raged in a pair of Portakabins near a South Wales garden centre was deliberate, according to the fire service.
The blaze at a Garden Centre near Pyle in Bridgend began shortly after 9.30pm on Tuesday evening.
On arrival crews reported two Portakabins were well alight along with an area of grassnear a railway line.
Network Rail immediately stopped trains on the line from Port Talbot to Bridgend and warned trains travelling from Bridgend
Along with the single-storey Portakabins, which were used as offices, numerous wooden pallets were also well alight.
Crews fought the fire for an hour and left the scene at around 10.57pm.
Jennie Griffiths, head of the joint fire control for South and Mid and West Wales Fire Services, said: “Crews fought the fire for an hour reporting the Portacabins had been used as offices and were deliberately set on fire.”
One eyewitness, Jess Reed, told WalesOnline: “Three fire trucks came past while we were there but it’s tricky to get to.
“It was a container shed right next to the train tracks. I couldn’t see anyone near the fire and the container looked unused.”
