THIEVES who stole thousands of pounds worth of material from a builder’s yard returned less than an hour later to take more.
The break-in happened at Wright Garden Buildings Ltd in Bagillt in the early hours of the morning.
CCTV footage shows the brazen thieves return to the scene of the crime 50 minutes after breaking the locks on the gates, and loading up a large white Transit van.
During the two trips to the yard on Station Road, two sheds, one 17 foot, another 12 foot, were stolen, along with a log store, a large stack of Aber Deck decking, a large double bench, trellis’, and a wooden table.
Owner Paul Wright, who was alerted to the break-in by one of his employees who opened up, said the goods taken total to about £3,500.
“It has certainly knocked a hole in my pocket,” said Mr Wright, 49.
“We have a half decent picture of them coming – someone, somewhere will know who it is.
“The van is reasonably distinctive.”
Mr Wright said he can’t believe the cheek of them returning to take more.
“It is just a joke to take a load and then to come back for more,” he said.
“They have cut the locks to get in and they have covered up the registration plate.
“They returned within about 50 minutes so they can’t have gone far.”
Police are appealing for information following the break-in last Thursday.
A police spokesman said: “A large vehicle would have been required to remove this property.
