Graffiti vandals have struck again in Caernarfon - for the second time in just over a week.
The last spray-painting attack happened a week ago when houses, phone boxes and a pub in Caernarfon were daubed with graffiti saying “council tax is slavery” .
This time a wall on Constantine Road and a road-sign near St Helen’s Road were targeted.
A North Wales Police spokesman said they were called by a member of the public about 8.55am this morning about “offensive graffiti on a wall in Constantine Road, Caernarfon, believed to have been put there overnight.”
The officer said they were told about further daubings down the road when two houses had been sprayed with similar graffiti.
The officer said that further calls had come from the public about the offensive daubings and that efforts were being made to try and clean up the graffiti.
The previous attacks came shortly before midnight on Monday, August 23, when vandals targeted the Eagles Hotel on Stryd y Degwm (Tithebarn Street) and a house and phone box on Llanbeblig Road.
A road sign and a kiosk were also been daubed with the blue paint.
Then, Clive Jones, landlord at the Eagles Hotel, said: “I am absolutely furious.
“I have been running this pub for 12 years and have never seen anything like it.
“Why couldn’t they write it on their own house? Why target my business and other people’s houses?
“It must be a very small-minded person who’s done this.
“I’m fuming about the whole thing.Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the web live chat at north-wales.police.uk/contact/chat-support.aspx, quoting reference U123454 or Caernarfon Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
