This is the unfortunate moment that a thrill-seeker was left hanging dozens of feet in the air at Zipworld in Bethesda .
The man became stuck on the zipwire, which sees riders travel up to 100mph, yesterday.
Fortunately, a member of Zip World staff was able to pull the man to safety.
He was unharmed during the incident.
Darren Childes, who witnessed the incident, tweeted: “No way would you get me on this ride, poor bloke left hanging, had to be pulled to safety."
Zip World chiefs said that riders rarely fail to reach the end of the zip wire and blamed head winds for the incident.
Sean Taylor, commercial director of Zip World, said: “Zip World riders have to brave the elements as well as the mountain when they take part.
"This means that head winds can vary from day to day, even hour to hour. It is Snowdonia, after all.
“This can speed certain riders up or, very infrequently, results in riders stopping just short of the finish, as the photo shows. It makes little or no difference to maximum descent speeds which are reached much earlier, 500 feet over the lake.
“The good news for Velocity’s adventure-loving riders is that in the event of a rider stopping short, a member of our expert staff swiftly and safely brings them back to base.”
Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin visited Zip World today to give the experience a try.
Fortunately, she made it safely to the end.
ITV Daytime tweeted: “Congratulations to you taking on a speed of 100mph the longest zipwire in Europe.”
