AN eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital with blood gushing from his head after being hit with a stone in the school playground.
Aaran Segui was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd after the incident, which saw him bleeding profusely from the wound.
Aaran’s dad, Tony, said one of his older son’s rushed to break the news of the injury.
Mr Segui, of Coed Mawr in Bangor, said: “Aaran was brought home by friends. Suddenly Jordan came in and said ‘Dad, Dad, Aaran’s bleeding.’ He’d had a rock thrown at his head. It was shocking.
“I took him to Ysbyty Gwynedd and they used medical ‘superglue’ to treat the wound. He’s okay now.”
The incident happened in the playground of Ysgol Friars school during the Easter holidays, on April 1, while youngsters were playing on the site out of term time.
Mr Segui said his son had invited the boy believed to responsible to his ninth birthday party in order that there are no hard feelings.”
