Police are appealing for witnesses after a gang smashed windows at a fast food restaurant in Flintshire before allegedly assaulting a resident on a nearby street.
Three people were arrested following the disturbance in Mold between 6-9pm on Halloween (October 31).
Police say a large group of youths had been at the town’s McDonalds at around 6pm where they are alleged to have damaged a number of windows.
It is understood they then made their way to the Elm Drive area where they were involved in further anti-social behaviour.
The group are believed to have caused damage to cars and assaulted a local female resident who needed hospital treatment.
DCI Neil Harrison is now urging anyone with information to contact police immediately.
He said: “We received several calls in relation to anti-social behaviour by this group.
“While there have been reports of anti-social behaviour in the area before, this was a serious escalation.
"Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident; one has been released without charge while two remain on bail.
“I would like to reassure the public that this level of anti-social behaviour in the Mold area is unusual and we have stepped up patrols and have a dedicated team of officers looking into all reports.
“Anyone with information should call North Wales Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting event reference S167267.”
McDonald’s has been contacted for a response.
