Surf Snowdonia has closed again after another breakdown in the wave generating machinery - with no date set for its re-opening.
The surfing lagoon in Dolgarrog, which opened on August 1, had already been forced to close twice after a mechanical problem and then a rip in the liner.
Now a further problem has been detected in the Wavegarden machinery that saw the waters fall flat before the weekend.
Engineers have now identified and isolated the section that needs to be repaired - but discussions are continuing over how long this latest shutdown will last.
The Daily Post has been told there is no chance that the waves will start rolling this week but beyond that they have been unable to pin down how long this closure will last.
It is not known if the problems will impact on the 100 jobs at the facility.
The rest of the facility - including the restaurant and soft play area - remains open.
A spokeswoman for Surf Snowdonia said: “Our Wavegarden engineers have been hard at work all weekend and we have now isolated the section of the wave-generating machinery that needs to be repaired.
