Wrexham,North Wales - Man accused of having shotgun, samurai sword and knuckleduster appears in court

William Michael Smith, 44, of Langdale Avenue, faces a string of charges along with Patrick Dziewiatkowiski and Daniel Michael Goodwin

A Wrexham man has appeared in court charged with possessing a shotgun, a samurai sword and a knuckleduster.
William Michael Smith, 44, is also jointly accused of committing a string of offences with Patrick Dziewiatkowiski and Daniel Michael Goodwin.
All three men, who were arrested after police raids on Wednesday morning, appeared together at Wrexham Magistrates Court today.
Smith, of Langdale Avenue, is alleged to have had a sawn-off shotgun in his possession at an unknown location on September 13.
He is also accused of possessing a samurai sword in Wrexham on October 1 and a knuckleduster at Castle Road in Chirk on October 20.
Smith and Dziewiatkowiski, of Smithfield Road, Wrexham, are jointly accused of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm to unknown persons at Castle Road in Chirk on October 20.
The pair are also charged with conspiracy to commit arson on Park Road in Ponciau between September 28 and October 21.
Dziewiatkowiski, 21, faces a charge of possessing an extendable baton in a public place at Castle Road in Chirk on October 20.
Goodwin, 23, of Ash Grove, Chirk, is jointly charged with Smith and Dziewiatkowiski of conspiracy to cause damage to property of unknown value belonging to Craig Lovell between September 12 and 17 in Wrexham.
