A MAN accused of threatening a person with a blade in a town centre has been remanded in custody.
Lesley Davies appeared before magistrates at Wrexham yesterday following an incident in Earl Road, Mold.
Davies, 39, of Hereward Road, Boughton, Chester, was committed to appear at Mold Crown Court on November 6 charged with grievous bodily harm and possession of a blade.
He will also appear at Wrexham Magistrates Court via video link on November 4 accused of burglary.
Meanwhile, North Wales Police are appealing for information about the incident in Mold.
Det Insp Jonathan Salisbury-Jones at Mold CID said: “Despite a person having been charged I would still like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly anyone who was also returning home from a night out and may have witnessed the incident.
“Shortly after 1am on Sunday, October 25, local officers responded to reports that a 26-year-old local man had been attacked and stabbed in Earl Road, Mold.
“A short time later officers arrested two men, also local to the area, nearby on suspicion of that attack.
“A 39-year-old man has been charged. A 27-year-old man was released without charge.”
