Pwllheli,South Wales - Gang steals two caravans, 4x4, van and motorbike in double burglaries in Pwllheli and Penygroes

Group of at least five or six used cutting gear to get into yards and make off with vehicles

Police are appealing for information following two burglaries at garages in Penygroes andPwllheli .

Five or six oiffenders managed to get into the compounds of two businesses by cutting through the surrounding fences.

At about 11.20pm on Sunday night, they took a white Ford Transit van, a Honda motorcycle, a steam cleaner and a Wacker plate were stolen.

Then, at about 1.15am on Monday morning, a second garage was burgled, this time at Pandy Garage in Chwilog near Pwllheli.

Two caravans were stolen.

GP Motors in Penygroes was also burgled

PC Alex Baker stated: “The offenders gained access by cutting through the fence. Two caravans were then seen being wheeled through a damaged fence. It is believed that the white Ford Transit van, stolen from Penygroes, together with a 4x4 type vehicle were then used to tow the caravans away.”
